Fargo Forest Garden

Story of Day :

Located at the corner of NE Fargo and N Williams Avenue, this garden was depaved in 2008 and planting began in Spring 2009. This urban runoff demo project is great for permaculture principles with its rainwater containment system and flood detail.

The plantings of numerous fruit trees, berry shrubs, and perennial vegetables guilds showcase the permaculture principles here as well.

An Audubon bird habitat, this garden is perfect for wandering and drawing as well as bird watching. The garden is kept looking nice as visitors wander through it. There’s some planting and pruning, too.

The work party schedule varies depending on the volunteer base, so the in-charge person will contact you via email to discuss.
